As a brand new Virtual Assistant and Business Owner of Sunday Virtual Assisting, I am constantly looking to learn and expand my knowledge. Upon learning about the BDC Scholarship through the Métis Nation of British Columbia’s website I immediately applied. I am always eager to learn and explore new opportunities.
I always am working on keeping up to date and expanding my knowledge and skill set in this ever changing world of Marketing and Social Media. I was very intrigued by Jelly Academy’s Digital Marketing Bootcamp offerings and one thing that piqued my interest was to gain knowledge and new current information on topics I wasn’t educated on like Ads and SEO.
I was so honoured to be a BDC Scholarship Recipient for Jelly Academy’s Digital Marketing 2023 Bootcamp, when I got the email I was so grateful and excited! During the course of 6 courses in the span of 6 weeks we covered everything I was hoping for.
We had lessons on Social Media, Google Ads and Email Marketing. Scholarship participants also received Bonus Lessons, which was a great surprise and these were lessons on Digital Platforms, Digital Advertising / Outreach, Measurements and Analytics and Demand Generation / Conversion / Traction; which were all so valuable.
It is with tremendous gratitude I would like to say a big thank you the following:
First, to BDC for the generous opportunity and scholarship. Second, to the Jelly Academy for the hard work executed and the valuable knowledge included in the Digital Marketing Bootcamp. Third, to the Métis Nation BC for always providing support, valuable information and resources to Métis peoples.
I am leaving this Bootcamp with more knowledge in my field, more confidence in my service offerings and more pride in my province and country than I came with.
