This summer, I was fortunate enough to receive a Jelly Academy Scholarship for their Digital Marketing Bootcamp to enhance my marketing knowledge. I have been working in the marketing field for over three years. However, coming from a psychology background, I have never received formal marketing education. My goal was to grow my foundational understanding of marketing practices to strengthen my knowledge. Having recently completed the course, I would like to share some takeaways.
Throughout the course, I gained valuable insights into various aspects of digital marketing, including social media marketing, SEO, Google Ads, Facebook and Instagram ads, Google Analytics, public relations, influencer marketing, email marketing, and growth marketing.
One of the standout features of this bootcamp was its self-paced modules, which were easy to follow and flexible enough to accommodate my busy work schedule. Each topic began with a broad overview of core concepts before diving into practical applications, making the material both accessible and engaging. Each module also recommended relevant certifications to pursue, which helped further enhance my credentials and deepen my understanding.
What stood out to me the most were the educators. Each module featured different industry experts who brought extensive real-world experience to their teaching. Their practical suggestions were especially valuable, offering a refreshing contrast to the more theoretical approaches I’ve encountered in the past. My favourite module was Growth Marketing. I found it fascinating to learn how various tactics connect and how to identify the most effective strategies based on organizational goals and analytics.
I would highly recommend Jelly Academy to anyone looking to grow their marketing skills, whether you're a beginner or an experienced professional. The program emphasizes career development and provides a wealth of resources and support for those exploring new job opportunities. I’m incredibly grateful to Jelly Academy for the scholarship, and I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned in my work!
