Marketing Education Scholarship Fund

The Scholarship

Each year, Jelly Academy offers two $2500 scholarships for post-secondary students. The scholarships are to be used for by the students for their current studies at their post-secondary institution. To apply, students must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at a Canadian university or college in one of the following fields of study:

• Business

• Marketing

• Communications

• Public Relations 

• Computer Science
  

Eligible students include all of:

• Undergraduate

• Graduate

• Continuing Studies

Successful applicants must display an interest in pursuing a career in public relations, advertising, or marketing.

To help you prepare, here are a few resources you'll be expected to submit on the application:

• Please upload an essay outlining why you should receive this award. This should include a summary of your volunteer work, academic achievements, career goals, and leadership and humanitarian qualities.

• Please upload a short video of yourself answering these suggested questions, but we’ll leave it up to you (max 5 mins):

  • Tell us about yourself! 

  • What are your hobbies? What motivates you?

  • Why do you think marketing is the right career path for you?

  • What is one fun fact about yourself?

Successful applicants will be selected by a panel of jury members who will be making a decision based on the content of the essay, and reference letter.

Applications for 2024 are now open!

Deadline to apply: April 30, 2024

Scholarship recipients will be informed by May 30, 2024, so funds can be used to cover tuition for the Fall 2024 semester.
