Digital Marketing Course Now Available for B.C. Secondary Students
The 5-month Digital Marketing course by Jelly Academy will be available for high school students across the province via Workforce Training Certifications
Jelly Academy and Career Education Society have teamed up to make the Digital Marketing Bootcamp available to B.C. secondary students via Workforce Training Certifications. This on-demand-style course will provide students with an in-depth understanding of the most important aspects of social media, public relations, search engine optimization, Google Ads and Analytics, and Facebook and Instagram Ads and also provide 2 High School Credits. Hosted and taught by industry experts, students will earn industry-recognized certifications through the most popular digital marketing platforms, amplifying their chances of job placement upon graduation.
Student applications and enrollment began in March 2023 and took place via the Key Learning Centre. Enrollment will remain open to students throughout the rest of the year. Upon program completion, students will have the opportunity to sign up for BC Tech's Intern Program. This course marks an unparalleled opportunity for grade 12 students while also demonstrating the growing demand and market for digital marketing skills and careers across the province.

Digital marketing skills are among the most in demand in Canada. Similar to other career-oriented programs in secondary, this program will help students develop the necessary skills to gain employment.
