Important Eligibility Requirements
Applicants with past work experience, are currently employed in, or have education and training in one of the following sectors in the past 3 years, OR who are underemployed or unemployed, will be prioritized for this opportunity:

This sector integrates technology, data analytics, and automation to improve agricultural practices. It modernizes agriculture by leveraging innovation to enhance productivity, sustainability, and profitability.
This sector also includes: Primary Agriculture, Food & Beverage Processing and Manufacturing, Food Retail & Wholesale, Input & Service Suppliers, and Foodservice Providers. -
Defined by the integration of technologies like automation, AI, and 3D printing to enhance production. Other characteristics include:
Industry 3.0 or 4.0 technologies: robotics, digital twins, IIoT, cloud-based monitoring
Computer-controlled machinery, CNC systems, and smart fabrication
Additive manufacturing (3D printing) or advanced prototyping
AI-enabled quality assurance, predictive maintenance, or production optimization
Sustainable, low-waste, or circular manufacturing methods
Medical device or custom product manufacturing using automation or intelligent systems
Software or consulting firms serving manufacturing operations
Specialized marketing or support services targeting advanced manufacturing clients
Work experience is defined as any of the following:
Work experience can include volunteer work.
Work experience can be outside of Canada.
Work experience does not need to be three consecutive years.
Work experience must be outside of full or part-time studies (high school or post secondary).
Three years can be a combination of full-time or part-time paid/volunteer work, where full-time is defined as 30 or more hours per week and part-time is defined as less than 30 hours per week.
Who is it for?
Small to medium size business owners who manage their own marketing efforts, but need more tactical know-how to improve productivity, performance and drive results
Entry level marketers that need to round out their skill set in more areas of digital marketing to boost their resumé and support the growth of the business they’re working for
Team members who dabble in/have some responsibility for marketing efforts (perhaps you support with email marketing management) that need a better technical understanding of digital marketing tactics
