Does Jelly Academy Ladder into University or College Credit?

Reading Time: ~1 Min

University Student

A good portion of our students here at Jelly Academy are attending  post-secondary, looking for additional schooling options to boost their resume. Thus, a common question we receive is “does Jelly Academy ladder into university or college credit?” At this time, the course does not ladder into university or college credit but it offers up something even better - the most credentials earned in one given digital marketing course!

The flow typically goes the other direction as Universities and Colleges ladder into the Jelly Academy program where students come to add additional skills to their resumé. We are the only digital marketing course in Canada  that provides 11 micro-credentials. These include credentials in Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook) Blueprint, Hootsuite and more. The course compliments a pre-existing degree in that you come from your traditional post-secondary institution to Jelly Academy with a wide breadth of knowledge where you learn the specific job-ready skills and tools.

Our most common referrals come from professors who want to assist their students in landing a job in digital marketing right out of school. They have an awareness that micro-credentials are really the way to get jobs at this time, so they encourage students to gain these either prior to graduation or just following the completion of their degree. Moreover, hiring employers need to verify that the people they are hiring indeed know how to use the tools required to be a digital marketer. The micro-credentials provide that verification. We often get referred to by professors as Jelly Academy has a great track record of helping students get those credentials, and have a high success rate of gaining job roles post completion of our course.
